My Story

Although I've been a fashion girl since day one, growing up with Project Runway and dress-ups, truly my fashion designer journey began in spring of 2020 when I began to teach myself patternmaking and garment construction all on my own. I love teaching myself new skills from whatever I can find in books or online, but I'm also continually learning new techniques in my college coursework. I have experience in many hands-on techniques, including screenprinting, beading, embroidery, dyeing, knitting, drawing, flat patternmaking, and more.

I'm often inspired by eye-catching colors, nature, and anything vintage. My work tends to have a more feminine and artistic aesthetic, but I'm currently trying to gain experience designing for many different markets and styles. My favorite part of the design process is getting to see everything come to fruition and having my vision realized as all of the pieces click into place.

Although fashion has always been my thing, so has nature. From hiking to houseplants, I can't imagine my life without nature, which has been a pivotal point in my intentions as a designer. Sustainability is a key aspect of the industry that I'm drawn in by. Wherever my future career takes me, it's important to be creating work through both ethical and eco-minded practices.

Displaying my work is something that's so special to me, and I'm excited to have created this virtual space for you to view my work and get a peek into my creative world. I'm passionate about art and design, and I hope to pursue creative roles within the fashion industry.

I'm currently spending the academic year abroad in Florence, Italy, soaking up all of the city's rich history of fashion, art, and design-- and, of course, learning Italian and oogling at the street-style.
